What Gluten Free Pasta Works Best for this Recipe?

I have done my fair share of experimenting with the various gluten free pasta brands out there. Although there are many good options, my favorite is the Jovial brand. In my personal opinion, the texture and taste are very close to regular pasta. I would highly suggest using this brand when making this recipe, but any other brand will also work.

Is this Beefaroni Recipe Paleo?

This recipe can easily be made Paleo friendly for those of you following this diet. Simply replace the gluten free pasta with grain free pasta! My absolute favorite grain free pasta is Jovial Foods and you can now buy it on Amazon! By making this substitution you have a delicious dish that is gluten free, grain free and dairy free!

How Well Does this Meal Reheat?

How well this meal reheats truly depends on the type of gluten free pasta you use. Before trying Jovial gluten free pasta, I wouldn’t have suggested eating this meal for left overs. All of the other brands of gluten free pasta I have tried in the past have not reheated well and ended up getting very hard and dry in the refrigerator. However, this is not the case with the Jovial pasta. I was shocked with how well it reheated when I ate it later in the week. I like to add a little extra passata sauce on the nights I reheat it because it does get slightly dry in the refrigerator. However, this is an optional step as it still tastes great without the added sauce! If you are using grain free pasta, I would suggest not saving any for leftovers. I find that the grain free pasta does not reheat well.

How to Make this 20 Minute Cheesy Beefaroni

This delicious beefaroni is so easy to make and only takes 20 minutes start to finish! Start by boiling the water for the pasta and follow the directions on the back of your pasta box. While the pasta is cooking, brown the ground turkey. Drain the diced tomatoes and cut them into smaller pieces. Next, drain the grease from the ground turkey. Add the salt, pepper, oregano, passata sauce, and diced tomatoes to the skillet with the browned turkey. Reduce to low heat and cook for 3-5 minutes. Next, add the queso to the skillet and continue to cook on low heat for 3 minutes. Drain the pasta and remove the skillet from the heat.
